Ship of Fools | Ship of Fools - Gallery opening

Our gallery is a place to find art that makes you smile, art that has a nice set of balls, is straight forward and honest. We show art from people we believe in, not only names you know but also new ones. They come from all sorts of places, and all sorts of countries.

The name Ship of Fools comes from a painting of Hieronymus Bosch, the first real character designer. The painting depicts a ship filled with fools wasting their lives by playing cards, drinking, flirting, eating, etc. instead of spending it in “useful” ways. That sounds brilliant, doesn’t it?!? So join the ship and be a fool!

For this first exhibition of our gallery the theme is Ship of Fools and 22 artist have made their unique interpretation of the Ship of Fools.
